THE BUNGALOW is located on Forest Drive, Umhlanga, Durban. A safely situated private property within a malaria-free area, based in the heart of Umhlanga. The beach is 300m in front of the home as the crow flies.

Durban, a coastal city in eastern South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province, is known for its African and Indian influences.

Durban’s beaches rest along a part of golden sand known as the Golden Mile. Endowed with warm water, strong waves as well as limitless extends of sandy beaches, you’ll soon realise why Durban (eThekwini) is everyone’s favorite beachfront playground.

THE BUNGALOW:
has one main building with its own entrance and a
cottage which is positioned on the opposite side with a
private entrance. The home is surrounded by lush
gardens and with long pool positioned in the center of
the garden.
A short walk from The Bungalow gets you to the beach.
Umhlanga Village and La Lucia Mall are 2.5km and 3km
away respectively.

MAIN HOUSE: Consists of 4 bedrooms and 3&1/2 bathrooms. The main bedroom upstairs has an expansive bathroom, with double vanity bath and shower.

The room also has a small private balcony. 2 bedrooms downstairs share a bathroom that has a shower. The last bedroom is the children’s room which has an en suite bathroom and outdoor shower. The main house has one main lounge, dining area, kitchen open to breakfast eating area, scullery and laundry alcove.

It also has a smaller TV section acting as a second TV / boutique lounge. Most rooms are fitted with either fans and/or air cons and the home has wooden mock sash windows fitted that bring character to the house.

CHILDREN: Children are all ages are welcome but need to respect the property at all times. There is a cot and an camp cot available which just require information before arrive to set up in the correct rooms.

A mini wooden jungle gym and tramaline can also be set up. Children need to be supervised at all times, nanny’s or children care can be arranged with sufficient notification.

A day in the life at The Bungalow: This gives you an indication of the days order, however you are free to make your own itinerary, communication with housekeeping or butler is important. The staff generally work 7am till 4pm, and come in to turn down the home at 6pm.
